This butter dish will keep your butter perfectly soft and spreadable while also keeping it fresh! Simply soften your stick of butter, then press it into the interior of the top. Then place a bit of water in the bottom, enough so that when the top is inserted, it hits the water to create a seal. Whalla! Fresh, spreadable butter at your fingertips 24/7. Who could ask for more?
I threw this dish on the potter's wheel in porcelain, then glazed it. I hand cut and added gold decals after the glaze firing, then fired it for a third time in a decal firing.
This butter dish is dishwasher safe, but I would recommend hand washing. It is approximately 2.5"H x 3.5"W.
