I threw this cup on the potter's wheel with porcelain clay. I decorated it with precise, controlled lines incised with an exacto knife, then inlaid with underglaze. I then carefully applied glaze within the lines before introducing it to the chaos of the soda kiln, where I fired it to cone 10. The result is a blend of control and chaos - in my mind a bit like life, creating a work of beauty that will give you more to see every time you look at it.
This cup is perfect for your every day tea, water or cocktail. It is microwave and dishwasher safe.
