I decorated this mug with precise, controlled lines incised with an exacto knife, then inlaid with underglaze. I then carefully applied glaze within the lines before introducing it to the chaos of the soda kiln, where I fired it to cone 10. The result is a blend of control and chaos - in my mind a bit like life, creating a work of beauty that will give you more to see every time you look at it.
This mug is perfect for your every day coffee, tea or whiskey - I won't judge what you put in a mug.
